What is Kiwanis International?

Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Kiwanians are volunteers from all around the world, helping out through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? Because working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things happen. Being a member of Kiwanis International means you will be part of an organization with a membership of over 260,000 adult Kiwanians in about 8,000 clubs located in 96 countries.  You will be volunteering alongside 320,000 youth members that are part of our family of Service Leadership Programs that include K-Kids from Grammar Schools, Builders Clubs from Middle Schools, Key Clubs from High Schools, Circle K Clubs from Colleges, as well as Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities.

Who is Holmdel Kiwanis?

Holmdel Kiwanis serves the bayshore area of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We work with many non-profit organizations, holding fundraisers to support them and volunteering with them when needed. Some of these organizations include The Frances Foundation, Jason’s Dreams for Kids, Michael’s Feat , The Rainbow Foundation, The Monmouth County Child Advocacy Program, Project Paul, and many others. Some of the events we host include a Wine Tasting, a Steak Bake, a Golf Outing, and a Children’s Christmas Party. Membership in our club is open to anyone in the community that is at least 18 years of age and has a passion for helping out in the community through volunteering at the many events we host. What we ask of our members is that they try to attend our meetings, held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7pm; and that they help out at our events, volunteering their time to make each one a success.

If you are interested in learning more about our organization, attending one of our meetings, or becoming a member, feel free to contact us at our Club Secretary at: [email protected]. In the email, please Include your name and the best way to get back in touch with you. We hope to hear from you soon!!!
